Which life situation can you relate to most easily?

I want to stand out, move forward, and be visible. I need professional branding and help to find my USPs, which I can build myself around.

I need a new strategy. I want to discover what new doors open as the old ones close. I need to rediscover what my core values are that I need to focus on to get back in the flow. It's important for me to see what I need to learn, not to feel like I'm falling behind.

I would like to find or groom the right successor, someone who can continue the journey I have started. I would like to move on and retire, but I don't want to lose what I have worked for. It is important that my company continues along the values and path that I have started.

I want my colleagues to take responsibility for their work and be there for me, not me for them. I need supportive colleagues who push me forward, not pull me back. I don't want to feel like I'm the smartest in the room.

I want to stay in the flow and maintain this momentum. I want to keep the strategy in focus and maintain the good results. Despite many stimuli and new challenges, I want to stay on track with growth, turnover, and profitability. I need sustainable development that doesn't eat up my colleagues or me.

I want to work efficiently, within a framework, to do what is most important: be with my loved ones, grow, and live. I want to find balance, to see the next step, the way out. I want to create a sustainable, lovable work-life balance in my life.

I feel burnt out. I'm tired of what I'm doing now. I want to start something new. I want to reinvent myself and find my way back to myself. I want to define who I am and who I want to be. I want to figure out what I want to do, what makes me feel good, what gets me in the flow.

In the long term, my decisions will determine my company's culture, structure, and values. My mistakes today will narrow the trajectory my company can take in the future. I have never built a company (this big) before. I have no idea how to motivate larger teams. I want to give vision, become a real leader, and get the best results from my company. In the meantime, I don't want to burn out and lose myself, to burn up. I don't want to lose my way at work or personal life.

Things are not going according to our plans. If this continues, we will need crisis management. If we continue to give the usual solutions to the usual problems, our company will not move in the right direction, and we won’t develop. We need to change. We cannot change the mindset of our colleagues from within.

Intellectual personal trainer. 

The Sparring Partner gives you support in how to deal with whatever situation you find yourself in. A partner who cares about you but has the advantage of not being involved in the day-to-day operations, not knowing how to do what you do, and not knowing what you can’t do. A prepared, experienced, thinking outside eye who has led teams, gained experience leading small, medium, and large companies in several Central European countries.

At 11, I was just making posters

for the grocery stores opening in my home village thanks to the regime change. In the more than 35 years since then, a lot has happened, successes and failures. I have tried to learn as much as possible from them and pass on as much of the knowledge I have gained as possible.

I am Zoltan Kaprinay, a serial entrepreneur, innovator, founder, and builder of several successful businesses. I am also a business sparring partner and intellectual personal trainer for senior executives, top managers, companies, and teams. Although I started my career as a journalist, I have had the opportunity to start, build, or even turn around several businesses from the brink of bankruptcy to profitability.

I have worked in large international companies and had a one-man business. I have led teams in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. I'm the founder of Index.hu, Bónusz Brigád, CreativeDock Hungary, and Ipsilon Group, the first head of A38 Ship, and one of the innovators of T-Mobile (Westel). I am a Central European solution and connection man called upon when new perspectives, actionable strategies, or senior management support are needed.
